Feels a Lot Like Christmas!

The guard at the DAV entry gate gave me a postal notice; the P.O. was holding a package for us. That's always good news. So I hiked the 3/4 miles to the post office, bringing my backpack to carry  the goods home. Eureka! It was a 5 box day, a bonanza of boxes, a plethora of packages!

Blessings to all of you who are thinking of us, even as we think of you this Christmas. Special thanks to Mom Motta, Kathy D., Linda & David, and Chuck & Margaret and their home group gang. You have made us smile and remember the warmth of home at Christmas. We love you all!

Opening the boxes was as much fun as getting them.We reveled in the simple joy of muffin mixes, maple syrup, popcorn, parmesan cheese, cereal, peanut butter, and yes...even a box of prunes! (Thanks, Margaret.) And thanks, Kathy (my sister-in-law) for those wonderfully, delicious Canadian treats...Coffee Crisp bars!

Coffee Crisps are great, eh!

Hey Mom, thanks for the parmesan cheese, New Hampshire maple syrup, and maple pecan crunch cereal....mm mm-good!

We already made some brownies and shared them with some students...they were awestruck!

Linda and David, this neat candle warms our room and hearts with Christmas cheer! (and Linda, the slippers warm my feet on our cold tile floor-thank you.)

And to all of you who support us,  encourage us, email us, and pray for us...we wish you a most Merry & Blessed Christmas! We miss you all.
